Rudy Roushdi is an Egyptian-American actor and theatre maker. He is best known for his role as Sam Malak in The Enemy Within starring Morris Chestnut and Jennifer Carpenter.
He will soon be making his off-Broadway debut in the highly anticipated play The Vagrant Trilogy by Mona Mansour at The Public Theater.
Select regional theatre credits include: Twelfth Night at Two River Theater, King Charles III at Seattle Rep. Hamlet, The Importance of Being Earnest, Romeo and Juliet and the world premiere of Gertrude and Claudius by Mark St. Germain at Orlando Shakespeare Theatre, Concrete Orange at The Guthrie, and The Winter’s Tale at Seattle Shakespeare Company. He is a founding member of Off-Road Shakespeare in Seattle, Washington and was a puppeteer for The Center of Puppetry Arts in Atlanta for their 2012-2013 season. He is a proud graduate of the University of Washington school of drama.
